Christian Benford
Professional Athlete, Author, and Philanthropist

Christian Benford was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Jewell Benford and Christel Perry. As a native of  Randallstown, Maryland, he attended Randallstown High School, where he was a standout student and was named All Metro and All Baltimore County.
Christian is a graduate of Villanova University, where he became a great football player and outstanding student. His academic achievements include earning the CAA commissioner’s academic honor roll for three semesters as well as the athletic director’s honor roll. ​​On the field, Christian became a driving force for the Villanova defense and was eventually named an All-American by the Associated Press, Stats Perform, and Hero Sports.
Christian was drafted by the Buffalo Bills  in the sixth round of the  2022 NFL Draft.​ While many sixth round draft picks struggle to make their teams, Christian’s hard work as a rookie in training camp earned him a starting job, ahead of the first-round pick and many other cornerbacks initially above him on the depth chart.
As of 2025, Christian finished his third season as Buffalo’s starting cornerback and is recognized as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL. ​Off the field, Christian is passionate about making a difference for up-and-coming athletes through coaching and mentoring. His first children's book, Stylish Safari, was released in March 2025, and aims to empower young people to believe in themselves and strive to fulfill their dreams.
